Internet Brands Buys Apartment Ratings

Internet Brands’ deal makers are staying busy through the summer, today buying ApartmentRatings.com for an undisclosed amount.

Launched in 2000 by husband and wife Jeremy and Katie Bencken, ApartmentRatings.com boasts more than 500K reviews and ratings of about 60K apartments nationwide. Apartment Ratings is used by over 12M unique visitors per year, making it one of the four most-popular apartment hunting websites.

The Benckens are on to their next project TenantMarket.com which wants to help DIY landlords fill vacancies faster with better renters.
