Vendorseek.com – $3 MIllion a Year
December 4, 2006
The 35-year-old Wisneski now employs 10. VendorSeek.com’s most recent fiscal year saw $1.5 million in revenue, up from $1 million the year before. The company was profitable for the first time last year, Wisneski said, and he projects it will have close to $3 million in revenue in fiscal 2006.
Wisneski said vendors are drawn to his online service because it allows them to spend more time selling and less time looking for customers. “You’re dealing with customers who have placed a request, so your work is closer to the dollar,” he said. “Your sales cycle is improved. We get feedback from some vendors that this is by far the best return on investment of their marketing vehicles.”
