Peter Kight in 1991 founded the company that provides electronic commerce systems for both companies and consumers. For example, the systems allow consumers to pay bills via the Internet.
Kight’s stake in CheckFree amounted to $198 million, and his compensation last year totaled $557,813, including salary and bonus.
